about

Right when a song is written, I record a sketch live acoustic demo of it so I can remember how it goes when it comes time to record the "real thing". These are all recorded in a hushed voice, usually late at night when you can really hear the right side of my mouth not working. All of the songs are in the order they were written, just like on the album. Some words and phrasing are a bit different and some notes haven't quite found their place yet, but they still have something special about them in there the moment after they're planted.
